Time Changes

Being 700 miles away, and four hours behind, we wake up this morning to a pile of bodies. Must be spring.

1)Seventh District officers responded around 10:30 a.m. to a report that a body was lying at a dump site in the 8200 block of Almonaster Avenue, about 1.5 miles west of Read Boulevard, police said. The victim, who appeared to be in his 20s or 30s, apparently had been shot and beaten.

2)1-10 interchange near Tulane and Airline: The NOPD responded to a call of a shooting and upon their arrival, found two men who had apparently suffered gunshot wounds to the body. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was transported to a local hospital, according to a NOPD press release. The victim who died is a 19-year-old New Orleans man. His name is being witheld until family members are notified.

3)A 26-year old woman was found shot this morning at the corner of St. Roch Avenue and Vienna Street in Gentilly. The woman was taken to a local hospital and is currently in surgery. If all goes well, it appears she will survive.

Out west this morning, drug cartels from Nogalas and Agua Prieta are burning bodies in cars in the desert. From this we surmise that everywhere's got it's problems. Maybe we'll start a southwest affiliate of the Murder Blog
