You know, biscuits and ham and hugs...

St. John the Baptist Sheriff's Office investigators are searching for two men who might be linked to a LaPlace home invasion, where a resident awoke to find a handgun pointed at his head. Two men entered a home in the 300 block of West Second Street on Wednesday sometime before 2:55 a.m., said Lt. Dane Clement, spokesman for the St. John Sheriff's Office.

I just happened upon this blog yesterday and read a shit ton of it. It somehow made me feel better about getting robbed at gunpoint last month on Magazine and Dufossat. Now, today, just an hour ago, I was greeted by gunshots outside my house. Apparently 2 14 year olds first tried to rob a 6 year old boy around the corner, and when he started screaming they ran right beside my house and tried to rob some workers and shot at them twice, aiming the gun towards my house. Turning out to be a lovely Friday the 13th in Broadmoor.
