Readership, AT ALL TIME LOW

Moly Ried of the Times-Picayune brings you the following choice dish:

One man was killed and another injured in a gunfight Saturday morning outside a Kenner lounge.

Ron James, 28, was booked with second-degree murder after he was released from the hospital with a gunshot wound.

Responding to a report of gunshots fired outside the Backyard Café & Daiquiris, 433 Veterans Memorial Blvd., at 5:09 a.m., Kenner police found several spent bullets and casings on the Decatur Street side of the lounge.

protect your souls, dear readers, because you're going to have to reconcile the following fact,
While some in the city do their absolute best, others do their absolute worst.

Really, don't pay it lip service, reconcile it with your conscience. Preachy Sunday.

August is almost over. Maybe things will "cool down"? Not a chance?

Sounds like NOLA is a fulltime fireworks show. And the 4th of July is long gone and Fat Tuesday is aways away. So, what holiday is to blame? Oh, The First Ever Annual Katina Memorial Day?

Whose readership is at an all time low? NOMB? Or the Times-Picayune?
