In no particular order:
1) An unidentified man with a gunshot wound to the head was found shortly before 8 a.m. lying in a park near the underpass of North Claiborne and St. Bernard avenues. The man was dead when police arrived, and did not carry any identification
2) A young man riding a bicycle was gunned down Friday afternoon in Central City, putting the city's homicide total this year at 72, police said
3) New Orleans police are searching for one or more gunmen who killed one man and wounded another late Friday outside a Gert Town nightclub. Second District police responded to a call of man down at the Daiquiris Island Bar, 7908 Earhart Blvd., on Friday shortly after 11 p.m. They found a 22-year-old lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency medical technicians pronounced him dead at the scene
4) A New Orleans teenager was fatally shot in the head Sunday afternoon in the 800 block of North Dupre Street, police said.
