Neither here nor there...

but really, best paragraph in the paper this weekend:

Residents of the Carrollton/Hollygrove area in New Orleans say they are all too accustomed to finding the city's dregs stuck in the drainage canal that separates them from Jefferson Parish -- garbage, IV drug needles, junk cars and, at least once, a naked corpse.

On the subject of last night's swift actions of the new local/federal task force team up, the "crime abatemnet team," NOMB has only this to say:


Come on, NOMB has never heard abatement used in any way except maybe in reference to AIDS.
