Date Gone Sour

That's a mild way to put it. When we think of a date going sour, we think, "Man, there is no way were gonna get a kiss out of this." Plus we usually spend more money than we thought was worth it.

New Orleans police arrested a 21-year-old New Orleans man in the stabbing of another man during what appears to have been a date gone sour. An unidentified 33-year-old man met Preston Reed of 2145 N. Rocheblave St. on a party chat line and invited Reed to come to his house on Thursday. At some point, the two popped in a movie DVD and settled in to watch it. After the movie ended, an argument ensued, and Reed grabbed a weapon and stabbed the other man several times in the back and head. The victim called 911 for assistance. Officers estimate that the man was stabbed seven times in the back and three times in the head about 7:30 p.m. at his home on North Dorgenois Street.

These kinds of blurbs never have enough details-- what were they fighting about? How cut and dry is internet sex-- I mean, dating? There are so many possibilites: the older guy goes for the kiss and the young one gets freaked out? Couldn't agree on the price? What was the dvd? Why do we get details like 'stabbed inthe back and head,' yet don't get movie titles? And it all went down before 8PM.
I wish the cops didn't keep all the important stuff to themselves.
