The Westbank is heating up something serious
A 26-year-old bouncer was killed and a bartender wounded during a shooting early Monday outside of a Terrytown lounge.
Eric Patterson of Terrytown died from multiple gunshot wounds shortly after 2 a.m. when he was shot with an assault rifle outside Big Dawg's Lounge at 111 Wright Ave. A 30-year-old Algiers man was wounded by flying shrapnel; he is in good condition at University Hospital, said Jefferson Parish Chief Deputy Newell Normand.
