From Tuesday

We rarely see murders of this ilk here in the NOLA. The details, while sparse, speak to a different type of crime. A planned one.

A woman found floating near Interstate 10 in eastern New Orleans on Tuesday was strangled before being thrown in the water, prompting Coroner Frank Minyard to classify the death a homicide.
An autopsy Wednesday showed the woman died from strangulation and submersion. The body had no scars, tattoos, and was found naked.
