A New Orleans woman who did investigative work on behalf of capital murder defendants died Wednesday in a fall from the Crescent City Connection that authorities are investigating as a possible suicide.
Charlotte Glass, 66, who helped humanize murder defendants in the eyes of jurors and others in the criminal justice system, was pronounced dead Wednesday morning when her body was recovered from the river within an hour of the incident
