Violent Carnival Season?

That's what they say. Down here at the office,NOMB is still enamoured with Mardi Gras. We wanna talk about that one thing we saw, or the guy who did that, and wasn't it great how we all did that other thing and then laughed about it? Yeah, it was great. But unfortunately, we got other buisness.

A gunman opened fire Wednesday morning and killed a 26-year-old man driving a rental car in the Lower Garden District, sending the car careening into a nearby building.In broad daylight Wednesday, with people standing outside, Edward Causey, 26,of New Orleans, drove a white Pontiac sedan eastbound on Annunciation Street about 10:30 a.m., authorities said. When he reached the intersection at St. Mary Street, a waiting man sprayed his vehicle with gunfire


A man was shot in the leg and back Wednesday night in the 7th Ward, New Orleans police said. Shortly before 10 p.m., 1st District officers found the man in the 1200 block of Frenchmen Street, near Marais Street.
