If you aren't living in the area, it may seem like all PTSD angst had fizzled out, and to be true, alot of it has. Most folks, while still stressed, tend to weather the trials.

A Chalmette man apparently shot and killed his girlfriend and then killed himself in their home Saturday afternoon. They were identified as Melanie Doran, 52, and Lawrence McCall, 51, of 1204 Wisconsin St.
The bodies were discovered Saturday about 3:30 p.m. by Doran's sister, who had come to the house to visit, Baumy said. Doran's body was found in the bathroom, and McCall was found just outside the bathroom, each with a single gunshot wound to the head
