West Bank Inauguration

of violence...
Can't get a day of peace, even for The Doctor
1)1:40 p.m. as a large crowd gathered at Johnny Jacobs Playground, 5851 Fifth St., after a Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade ended there, Fortunato said.

According to witnesses, two unidentified men were arguing when one pulled a pistol and began to chase the other, firing several rounds. The bullets struck two bystanders. The 11-year-old boy was hit in the leg, while a 28-year-old woman suffered a "superficial gunshot wound to the face,"

Well, to be fair, it's not really an inauguration. We we're just trying to drive up the site traffic.

2)1900 block of Betty Street. Deputies dispatched to the scene found an unidentified man shot once in the stomach. The victim was alert and conscious when he was transported to University Hospital. His condition was not available Monday night.

And if you're looking for information on the Wendy Burns shooting, the Times-Picayune is reporting this morning that police have taken a 15 year-old-boy into custody. Apparently, he just walked in and confessed.
While NOMB would sure love to believe that a common morality and sense of responsibility motivated this confession, we got to say, we're pretty skeptical.
