WE step out of the house this morning and our nostrils are stinging. Must be the hurricane a-coming. Or it could be the massive amount of dust kicked up by yesterdays demolition of half of Treme.
Anyway, here's one we missed from yesterday:
1)A 24-year-old man was shot to death Monday afternoon and found inside a building down the street from the 6th District police station. Officers responded to a call of gunshots fired just after 1 p.m. When they arrived at the Happy Jack Social and Pleasure Club at 1418 S. Rampart St., they discovered a man inside with gunshot wounds
