How quickly things change after festival season -
1)The throngs are gone.
2)On a relaxing bike ride down N. Peters a man is lurking behind the big telephone pole, waiting for you to slow down enough to rush you.
3)The man in the car next to you pulls up along and stays even with you, staring right at you. The French Quarter seems extra dark.
4)School's out.
Shootings
1:A shooting took place shortly after 11 a.m. in the 2700 block of North Villere Street. A man was shot multiple times and transported to the hospital.
2:A man was shot in the back of the head in the 2400 block of Elysian Fields
