Can you tell me how many murders (and other types of violent crime) have occurred in the Lower Ninth Ward since the start of 2008?
Also, do you have locations?
We really don't go through the numbers that well. We spend more time with the media end of this thing. The reportage.

The NOPD website you access through the city's web portal has a press release link, but it is slow to update and often pretty limitied in scope.
